Description
A superior quality industrial hoist with an H3 duty rating, 5 Ton capacity, and 10’, 15’ or 20’ of lift (custom lift heights also available). IP65 / NEMA 4 24v 2 button hand pendant control hangs approximately 2’ lower than rated lift height. Single speed 230v/460v 3 phase motor is insulated for heat resistance and damage mitigation. A powder coated steel housing protects the hoist motor. Simple plug in type wiring makes attaching the hand pendant control and the power cord quick and easy. A limit switch stops hoist to prevent over-lifting or over-lowering. In the case of power loss, an electro-magnetic DC brake will engage to hold the load in place. Fixed top hook and 360° swiveling bottom hook that will slowly expand to indicate capacity overload. The Elephant FA-5 electric chain hoist is manufactured to meet ASME B30.16, and is load tested to 125% of the rated capacity.
